Can it be true? The Bude Community Larder is two. We celebrated our second anniversary at the beginning of this year, and to mark the occasion we had a small party at Berries Community Café, with volunteers, sponsors and founding members plus our local MP Ben Maguire dropped in to wish us well.

Tanya Salisbury, Coordinator of the Bude Community Larder said, “It was great to recognise how much we’ve achieved over the two years we’ve been running and to say thanks to our amazing volunteers – we couldn’t operate without them. If you’d like to join us we’re always keen to welcome new helpers. Even just two hours a month of your time would make a difference.”

If you’d like to help with hosting sessions, collecting the food or doing social media posts, contact Tanya at budecommunitylarder@gmail.com or message on Facebook

Opening times: Saturdays 11am-12pm Berries Community Café, 40 Berries Avenue, Bude,

Wednesdays 2-3pm Bude Library, The Wharf, Bude EX23 9LG

Everyone welcome, our main aim is to avoid food going to landfill, so everything is free, but if you make a donation, it helps with our running costs.
